My co-worker and I watched an odd site this morning just south Shipshewana and the intersection of 5 and 20 as we were driving north on 5.  At first it looked like it could be a helicopter, it was long, moving very slowly to the east, with green flashing lights. We were looking and discussing it when all of a sudden it was just simply gone.

After it disappeared I saw above , very far above where the questionable 'object' had been, a jet moving east. I dont know if there was any relation of the jet and the "object", but at least surely aircraft must have seen it on their radar.

I had seen this earlier when we were driving east on a county road over to 5 south of Topeka, but it seemed to have gone behind the trees and I didnt say anything to my driver. Then when it appeared right in front of us I was perplexed and told him I had already seen it, and that it had disappeared then also.

Strange sites in the sky this morning for sure.
