Saw UFO moving lights with my father

Years ago near our house at night in Saratoga, CA my father and I both clearly saw and exerperienced a UFO only lasted a few seconds above the mountain near top by us
both father and I clearly saw what can only be described as some sort of UFO showing as small flash travelling lights then cleared that night it was probably saw around 40 years. My father a University professor and WWII veteran called the police and made a full report at the Saratoga, CA. plice station.
