"We were watching the fireworks display bringing in the new year in our village when a football size orange light came across the roof tops about 30feet in the air. It was travelling in a Nothernly direction when it stopped directly above us for about 1 minute. I waved at this glowing ball of light but it stayed motionless for a while, then shortly started to travel in a westerly direction. I called my wife who caught the object just before it speed increased and disappeared skywards. "
