"Red/Blue/Bright White flashing lights near Arenal Volcano, Costa RicaAt 3:00 A.M., I got up from bed to go to the bathroom. The window is frosted glass and I noticed a flashing. I went into the living room and saw alternating red, blue, and white lights. The white light was very very bright. I was looking west. The lights seemed to be to the north (right) of the Arenal Volcano. It was hard to tell if they were actually to the North of Arenal Volcano or perhaps between me and the volcano but to the right. I watched for about 5 minutes from the living room and then went back to bed. I live near the Arenal airport, but its a daylight only strip. No lights.I have noticed aircraft at night but to the east of my home. Probably on their way to San Jose Costa Rica. I am a retired Registered Nurse (Masters Degree). "
