Witness Testimony
"My friend Carlo and I were driving on narrow road near the town of Lajas, Puerto Rico oon our way back to La Parguera where we intended to spend the night. I was driving on a two-lane road at about 45 miles an hour, when I saw an object that looked like like a disk with a string of red, green and white lights shining around the rim of the object. I noticed that it was not moving, but rather it hovered over a thicket of vegetation on the side of a small hill. I pointed out the object to my friend who was surprised to observe that the object suspended in the air. We pulled to the side of the road and got out of our rented car, and continued to look at it. We then realized there were some other people who had gotten out of their cars and were observing the object. The object seemed to be emitting a blue beam of light from its underside. We noticed that there was a small object in the beam of light and it looked to us like it was an animal, perhaps a small dog or cat. The animal appeared dead or asleep and slowly disappeared into the object. After five minutes we noticed some helicopters were moving slowly towards the disk. The disk then began tto descend and disappeared into the side of the hill. We could hear a weird sound from the area into which the object seemed to have penetrated. The helicopters disaapeared beyond the hill but could still be heard for a few minutes after we lost sight of them. Some people began to walk towards us, and my friend was a little fearful and told me to get back into the car, which I did not hesitate to do. We pulled away, but we had the eerie sensation that we had seen something unusual. We checked in our small hotel and had an uneventful trip back to San Juan."
