Witness Testimony
"Strange lights appear over the Combat Manuaver Training CenterAt approx. 2 am on the date mentioned I was on routine guard patrol at the Combat Manuever Training Center in Honefels, Germany. I was looking at the night shy though my night vision goggles and noticed lots more stars, planets, satallites, and other things. I was looking at a planet / star group and noticed a light appear from it and it was flying at a decent speed. The light did numorous figure-eight patterns while in flight. It also made a sharp u-turn twice. While I was looking at the object with my NVG's I decided to flash the infrared sensor at it. The object then stopped, flashed back, and proceeded to the same area where it came from. Once it had gotten to the area it disappeared. I have also noticed other lights while looking at the night sky, though I identified them as meteorites as they when in a straight path at top speeds.The area of CMTC is heavily wooded in most areas. All though the area I was in was clear. There is street lights in the area, but it didn't affect the NVG's."
