SIGHTING: GYMPIE (AUSTRALIA)
Witness Testimony
"Early morning travel with three blue triangles.I live in Queensland in Australia, in the small town of Gympie. Myself and a friend were travelling to my fathers house to pick up an old car. It was a fine day with some broken cloud. It was about 8am.I am a electrical tradesman and therefore consider myself a fairly well educated person. My neighbour who was with me has his own business and is also well educated. We both had open minds to the possibilty of UFO'S. As we drove to Melaney, there was a substantial break in the clouds as we came over a ridge. To the east of us and at about 1 oclock in the sky, we clearly saw three blue triangles in close formation. We stopped and they appeared to remain in that formation for a short time. There was no noise assosiated with the objects. They stayed in that spot until we lost sight due to cloud cover. I lived for many years near a large Airforce Base and in that time saw many and varied aircraft. I also worked on the base at various times. I have never seen any aircraft that could come close to what we saw.((NUFORC Note: Date of sighting is approximate. PD))"
