Witness Testimony

"As we were driving home we saw this bright cylinder, traveling at a very high,then it exploded and crashed in the water.We were driving home from the mall. All of a sudden we saw a cylinder shaped object in the sky. It had like a blue glow all of a sudden whatever it was it exploded, it was not like a normal explosion it light up the whole sky.There were huge blue flames. As we watched (the sky was still bright from the explosion) then it crashed into the water about 1.5 km off shore. As far away as we were you could see the water splash from the inpact. After that there were no flames like there would be if a plane had crashed. I am 100% positive this was not a plane nor a meteorite. Whatever this was it was 300 to 400 feet long,and about 250 wide.Honestly i have never seen anything like this before in my life, I have to be honest what i thought it was scared me.This object was coming from the north, going south.As soon as this happened we looked in the sky to see if there was anything in the sky and we could see two planes in the distance like they were investigating also.((NUFORC Note: Witness does not indicate a date.
