Witness Testimony

"Taking photographs to the sunset, in a place that is clear of buildings to the West, (ihave been there may times, just 10 minutes from home) I discovered what I thought it was a bird at first, when isaw it in the second of a series of over 100 pictures, when reviewing them next day. I didn't see personally the object. I took this picture because of the bright green contrast and grey and brown colors. I thought it was nice. I am also a painter and I like to take color samples from Nature (see my page www.littlenova.net)I am also an active glider pilot since 1991.I know local birds (mostly sparrows and blackbirds, some doves and storks in the cities). & miles from the spot is Torrejon AF base. 13 miles away is Madrid Barajas airport Mi coordinates while taking the picture: N40º 33' 10" W3º 20' 26"The object was on vector 275º from my position. I estimate a distance of half a mile to one mile, to the object.The sun was on direction approx 245º Time: 17:39 Temp. +3º C Wind North 5 knots The camera is Olympus 500UZ, 6MP, x10 zoom. The picture was taken with maximum zoom (x10), automatic foucs and settings."
