Witness Testimony

"At about 10:30 pm. May 10 I was camping near Piney, Mb. approx. 10 miles from the U.S. border. Stepping outside for a restroom break, I casually looked upwards at a clear patch of sky and marvelled at how there were no clouds whatsoever. To the southeast (I believe) I saw 2 brightly illuminated and horizontal white rectangles moving in perfect unison in somewhat of a circular fashion. That's to say, some motions were circular, some vertical, some horizontal, but the movement was easily observed and occupied an area of the sky approx. the size of my outstretched fist. After several minutes the objects merged. No fancy movements, no sound whatsoever...they just became one, and continued the movement as before. And there were no tree leaves obstructing my view, moving with the wind and causing lights to change their appearance. It was a clear, calm night. Then, back to being 2 rectangles. The entire event lasted some 10 minutes. Lacking my video camera at the time, I then turned in for the night. There was no feeling of being afraid at all, just in awe at what I'd seen. Our local astronomer and media "go to guy", *(Name deleted--SGonzalez/CMS) told me when I contacted him he'd had no similar reports that evening. A friend who's a pilot had suggested the U.S. gov't employed unmanned drones to patrol the Canada/U.S. border. (But, if true, why would they be brightly illuminated?) When I mentioned this to *(Name deleted--SGonzalez/CMS), he said he'd heard of that, but that it was likely the U.S./Mexico border that was patrolled. I'm totally unaware of the distance of these lights from myself; being night time, of course, it could have been 5 miles or 50 miles away. Anything like this ever crossed your desk?
