"Nebr. Star Party- Merritt resivoir- Snake campgrounds-27 miles South of Valentine Ne. Partly cloudy surrounding our location-clear overheadNAKED EYE OBSERVANCE Dim object high up first noted moving from South/South west moving North/North West in a gentle arc-Object started out dim like a satellite-then brightened VERY brite/white for short duration-dimming down to pale green-then to dim yellow then as if someone would turn on a light,brightened up 1/2 as bright at first,then as if turned off,back to original pale yellow,it moved over cloud bank- and disappeared from view.
