SIGHTING: MARONG, VICTORIA (AUSTRALIA)

Witness Testimony

"11.20pm 27 dec 08 - We were on the road between Marong and Myers Flat, near Bendigo Victoria, and we were about to leave after seeing an incredible amount of shooting stars. Then my partner Craig pointed to something on the north west horizon... it was this incredibly bright yellow long lights in the shape of a flat aeroplane on its side (kinda like a big mosquito). It was also very low flying, and rather large. It was moving much faster than a satelight or aeroplane, and was not flashing at all. We also noticed that it was hovering and wanning as it moved across the sky. It moved across until it was almost due west, then it flew off into the sky, towards the stars/space and disapeared. We were both really quiet for a while, and decided to go home. It was the single most strangest thing we have ever seen. Can anyone tell us what it was?"
