SIGHTING: MONTICELLO, UTAH (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"A star-like light traveled across southeastern Utah in the Canyon Lands National Park. It traveled from (possibly) the Northwest toward southeast. It started at the horizon just after dusk. It travleled at an immpossible speed making no noise what so ever. As it went to the southeastern horizon it vanished. It look like it left our atmosphere. Approx... 90 seconds later we heard a loud boom, we all looked up at the sky and located a jet was flying in the same flight path. 4 people saw it and 1 missed it. 2 witnessed it disappear at the camp sight, and 1 camper saw it from a walk she was on. The story was also confirmed by 3 others in the same natioal park the next morning. this took place at 9:14-9:19 on May the 9th 2006. I was standing looking at something in the car and a femalew asked me what that was in the sky. I turned and said it was a satelite, she said no it's going way to fast! i looked for a second and agreed, and then i added it was also to big and to bright. it flew in seemingly a straight line. We all watched it zoom pat but two of us went to higher ground to see it longer and thats when it dissapeared out of the atmposhphere. We were all shocked"
