Witness Testimony

"Sitting on my couch one evening watching TV, my picture window was directly across from my couch, I could see this bright light, so I got up and moved my curtain away from the window to see what it was, it was simular to a very large bright street light hovering just over the wooded area at the end part of the field across the road from my home. It hovered sort of back and forth, then disipeard behind the trees. I have had about 3 or 4 other sightings basically the same, in the same place, in 1994,I believe (around the same time, there were reported sightings in the Miramichi area, I remeber reading it in the local paper). Can't recall the exact time or date, just remember my children were small and already in bed for the night. I do remeber one sighting, my niece was here with me, she was 16 and already in bed when I spotted this bright light, I ran down the hallway yelling for her to get up and see this strange light, however by the time we got back to the window the object had dissipeared. One other time we were sitting on the couch again across from the window, my niece, her boyfriend and we witnessed the same light in the same spot. The first time I saw this light I think I called my father who lived across the road from me (so this object would have been directly behind his home) but by the time he got to his window it was gone) he told me that it could have been marsh gasses. I was somewhat freeked out, at that time I was afraid of the dark and the unknown. So I was very nervious. If I could see the same thing today, I would be more relaxed about it and take more time to examine and remember what I saw. However I have not seen this event happen again since then so I expect that if it were marsh gasses I would have encountered it again at some point in the past 12 years. So I do believe it was an UFO."
