Witness Testimony

"I was driving south/west on Hilltop Drive in Redding with my brother riding in the front seat. Straight ahead he and I both saw a falling light. At first I thought it must have been a falling star, but it was moving a fraction too slow and the angle wasn't right. We were driving on a ridge and the object appeared to fall into the valley, past our eye level and beyond our line of sight. I don't know if the light burned out or just fell out of sight. The light was constant, not flickering. It looked blue-white to me, but to my brother it looked more amber. From that angle it appeared as the light was falling into the Turtle Bay Area, which the Sacramento River runs through. Although it could have been falling right into the downtown area of Redding. It happened really fast. Maybe two or three seconds. It was unlike anything I remember seeing before. We are both very curious as to what it was. "
