Witness Testimony

"My grade school buddy and I were sleeping out side in a camper type structure with a blanket covering one side. We woke up early in the morning and moved the blanket to look out. When we opened the blanket we noticed an object coming from the north near Glacier National Park, MT. At first we thought it might be an airplane which would be extremely rare. As kids of the age of 11 or 12 we were very interested in building model airplanes so wanted we kept watching. It wasn't moving very fast. When we got a closer look of the object it was disk shaped, dull gray luster, and a slight dome in the top. It was not any kind of airplane etc of that time in the early 1950's. We then became excited and wanted a better look at the object so ran into the house and retrieved a set of 750 size field glasses which are very power full. The object hovered approximately 1000feet above the city of Hungry Horse MT where at the time the Hungry Horse Damn was just being completed. It hovered for several minutes then very slowly began moving to our right approximately one half mile the stopped and hovered again. I got the idea that it might be observing Hungry Horse Dam.After hovering for a few minutes again it began ascending in a left arc at an extremely high rate of speed into the cloud cover. Of course nobody believed us but we found this sighting to be exciting and since I'm 72 now I think it is time to pass this story on to MUFON."
