Witness Testimony

"It was about 9:45pm, and I was standing with my friend facing north on site c18 at bluffview camp grounds on Clearwater lake, when out of the corner of my eye I saw a orange glow to the west. It was completely silent moving east with a slight northerly directional change near the end of the event. My wife who was heading back from the shower near by, and neighbor on C19 to the north, were also able to get a look at it. About mid way thru the sighting I looked at it with my binoculars. It had a bright yellow glow in the center like a 60w light bulb surrounded by a red/orange blur. A few seconds before we lost sight, the object moved irraticly then it was out of sight. The event lasted no more than three minutes from my perspective. I knew there were sightings around this lake in the 70s from locals telling me stories when I was a kid. So I brought the field binoculars just in case we saw something. I have been looking up for years and finally I cought something I can truly say was unidentifiable. Ironically it is in the place whare I was first turned on to ufo's and basic astronomy. This was definately not an airplane or helicopter. I know enough about known aircraft to prevent a misidentification."
