Witness Testimony

"I was outside in the backyard with my dog and turned to the north and saw 5 or so bright red lights moving from the ground to the sky. They hovered and then moved around in a 'w' pattern before they they just disappeared. I ran onto the house and called my wife to come look outside in case they returned. We both came back outside and the lights reappeared one by one. They appeared to rise straight up from the ground and also to lower vertically to almost ground level as we both watched. My wife ran inside and got my 22 year old son to come outside and watch as well. The lights moved away from each other and towards each other. Then separated and just disappeared one by one. We saw planes during this occurrence and these did not behave like planes or helicopters. We were very curious as to what this could be. We have never seen anything in the sky behave like this. We even used our iPhone to identify overhead planes in the sky. These were not planes."
