Witness Testimony

"This happened months ago and I guess I was in complete denial over what I was seeing because for sure it was not normal. It happened over the course of a few days. This was a static light, a big light, low over the Bahia de Puerto Nuevo in San Juan at night. This was seen from the highest building in Miramar on the south side, not the side that faces the Condado Lagoon but the opposite. But surely visible for anyone who happened to look up in that direction. At first, first time I saw this I thought a low flying airplane on its way to the airport. But then it did not move. For hours. This thing was bright and low, ok. And this went on for a few days. It never lasted the whole night, because I kept checking and every night while this lasted, at one point it would be gone. Even my mother -an expert on pretending not to notice anything out of the ordinary- was startled by it one night. Because this thing was a big light that did not move. And then one day it was gone. I looked for this in the local press but found nothing which surprised me. Surely though, somebody else had to notice. It's too bad I did nothing to capture this thing on video. To be honest, I was unnerved. Still, have been wondering ever since. The date I put is approximate, by the way. I regret not having kept any kind of record."
