Witness Testimony

"On 10/21/2014 at about 9:15pm I was driving South on U.S. 283 around 8 miles South of Baird Tx. In Callahan Co. In the vehicle with me was my wife and a friend. We were returning home from an event in Baird when a bright redish/orange light appeared ahead of us and at about our 10 o'clock and above 500 ft. A second light appeared more to the East and lower on the horizon. Then a slightly smaller redish/orange light shot out vertically from the first light and went a short distance then both light hovered for a short time then went out. The light to the East went out also. We were talking about what we saw, and driving much slower, when the bright light appeared again,this time more to our 12 o'clock. It did the same thing, a light shot out vertically a short distance then stopped and both lights hovered for a short time before going out. We continued to drive slowly and discuss what we were seeing when the bright light appeared for a third time. This time another light appeared to the East. Same thing, a light shot out, both lights hovered then all went out. That was the last time we saw anything. The entire event only took 5 to 10 minutes. We have lived in this area for 20 years and have never seen anything like this. This was weird!!!"
