Witness Testimony

"My family and I were camping out at Lake Calamus in Nebraska. High winds at 3am caused us to vacate our tent and move to our truck. After a restless few moments we got situated. My wife was asleep. I set starring out the windshield of the truck for several minutes uneasy about the wind. A small light appeared in the distance, my eyes followed I assumed it was a small plane, I watch it disappear behind some nearby tree and then reappear on a completely different level somewhat lower, it then moved in the opposite direction in a flash and then shot up in elevation, I watched it perform this maneuver a couple of times it then dropped down in front of my truck 40 to 50 feet away and hovered about 4 or 5 seconds about 8-10 feet in the air, just as I was reaching for my wife to wake her up it shot directly toward my windshield and flew over the truck clearing the cab by less than a foot and disappearing behind me.The complete episode was perhaps less than 3 minutes, it left me very unsettled in an already uneasy night time storm "
