Witness Testimony

"I went outside (at about 22:11 CST) to smoke a cigarette. I had earlier (about half an hour prior; 21:20 CST) observed what looked like a satellite in space traveling at a great speed, headed North. This caught my attention to the night sky. At about 22:13, I witnessed a helicopter headed South bound at an altitude of about 1,000 feet from surface. This caught my attention, and I began looking at the clear night sky. At about 22:15, I saw what first appeared to be a flock of geese headed North bound at a constant speed. There was no noise, but the usual formation of the "geese" was very close to what would be an equilateral triangle, minus the 3rd straight line (^), and moving at a faster pace than the birds could fly. Furthermore, what I thought was the "geese formation" spread was wider than what would be expected. As the object approached, seemingly following HWY 231, North bound, I saw the object very clearly. The dim white light (possibly reflected light) from it disappeared as it entered a more populated area, but the ground city lights enabled a clear view of the object. It was chevron shaped, with no fuselage, and had a rectangular protrusion on its bottom. It was about 50 feet in length, flying at about 2,500 feet above surface at a slow and constant pace. The object was too dark to photograph or video (I had my iPhone on me). It quietly kept on cruising North bound until I could see it no more."
