Witness Testimony

"My family and I were driving back from Florida on the evening of June 17th 2015. We first observed the objects as we neared Phenix City, to the NE over the treeline. This was on US HWY 431 headed north. We had not made it to the city yet (still very dark along highway) and we observed this cluster. The most notable characteristic was that is was very bright. I thought maybe they were military signal flares over Fort Benning, but they did not seem to move or dissipate.I lost sight of them due to the city and obstructions until later. After about 20 minutes, we crossed over into GA on US HWY 80, stopping at Bradley Park exit for something to eat prior to getting on I-185. It was approximately 10PM EST, and I snapped 3 photos with my cellphone prior to going into the restaurant. After we ate (about 1/2 hour) we left, and I did not see the objects in the sky anymore.The pictures I took were roughly SE of our location (over Columbus), in the direction we had traveled from when we first observed them. I estimate they were a few miles away, as we had observed them from southern and northern vantage points that were 20 minutes travel time by car apart."
