Witness Testimony

"I was staying in a cabin near Gratiot Lake in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I went outside to pee and possibly sleep in the hammock outside. I walked outside and around to the front of the cabin which faces East and the lake. As I was considering sleeping in the hammock I "marked my territory" by peeing on the trees the hammock was attached to. As I was marking the second tree and facing the lake I noticed a light and looked up to see a bright object flying in an erratic swooping fashion. My first thought was something small and in front of me like an insect. I saw it fly behind a tree and realized it was inside of the low hanging clouds. It appeared to be disc shaped. It was lit up when I first noticed it but then blinked out like turning all the lights out. When this happened it left a light trail. It kept blinking on and off like this as it flew West. It continued to travel in the swooping erratic flight pattern heading generally West. I lost sight of it as it passed over the treetops toward the West. As soon as it was out of sight I freaked out and my heart started racing. I decided that I wasn't going to sleep outside in the hammock. When I got back inside I had my girlfriend feel my heart which was racing. She thought I had seen a bear. I couldn't sleep the rest of the night."
