Witness Testimony

"Me and my friend Amanda were driving uphill on a single-track country road around three miles off the beaten track at around 05.15 to 05.20 am. She pointed out two huge blue (I said they were blue, Amanda said they appeared white) lights, like a massive pair of eyes, just up ahead, shining directly over the field to our left. Immediately I could tell these weren't car lights, and they weren't lights from a nearby house either - we were in the middle of nowhere. As soon as she said, "What is that?" the lights disappeared. Frightened, we carried on driving (we're night-shift workers) and on our way back at around 6.00am, we came off the road and as I looked in the back windows, I saw the lights appear again in the distance. We became so scared/disorientated we found ourselves briefly lost. When I later told my mum about what we'd seen, she expressed no surprise and said that a friend of hers had seen lights that matched our description on the same bit of road. I still have no idea what exactly it was. "
