Witness Testimony

"I had gone to the park to photograph the sunset, so looking west, I noticed a light appear in the sky, far away from me. The closest that I can describe it was as if someone had struck a match. It was bigger when it first appeared it seem to appeared as it was fuel by some kind of combustion. It was hard to tell because of the far distance. I did think it might be an airplane turning in my direction, but I decided to photograph it just in case it was not an aircraft. I also took video of it. I witnessed it in the sky for about 10 minutes, and it seemed to remain stationary. To the naked eye it looked light a large star, but in the photographs and video it looks more like a piece of cloud, although strangely shaped at times. Witnessing it without the camera, it just looked like a bright star. Dark clouds were passing left to right and they passed in front of this light and that is when I lost sight of it. I didn't wait for the clouds to pass the light to see if it would still be visible because I was on foot and I didn't want to walk home by myself in the dark, so at that time I left.
