Witness Testimony

"In the summer of 1967 in the village of the power plant at Manic 1 , on rue McCormick , a UFO landed in the back yard of an associate of my father , when my father learned of this he took me and my sister to see the yard as it had been learned that there was evidence of this.we arrived and walked into his backyard, the house was a 2 story duplex company home , lawn and shrubs well kept, the man who lived there and witnessed this was the supervisor at the hydro power plant facility at McCormick power station Manic 1 , as we looked around , we could clearly see that something had taken place in his yard , their were 4 impressions in the ground approximately 8'-10' apart evenly spaced making a square, the ground is firm as Quebec soil is very hard in the area the impression was maybe 2"-3" deep and approximately 18" diameter., the grass in the center of the impression looked burned but not singed , heavier the center and becoming lighter as it lead away from the center , but the entire yard felt (crispy) there was a large tree on the north east corner of the yard , maybe 10' feet from the north east impression , the entire face of the tree had all its leaves burnt like , brown and dried up curled in , but the back side of the tree was still green,the back of the house looked as though it might have been singed as well, these are memories as best as I can remember them my sister and my father also remember , the gentleman who lived there eventually renigged his story and said that he had done it as a hoax , ( we believe that he feared for his job ) and wanted to speak of it no more . It was not a hoax , I have the gentlemans name , but I do not know if he is still alive . "
