Witness Testimony
" My brother and I were watching the skies for shooting stars as we normally do when we camp out on the beach at Lake Mcconaughy. We were talking when he caught something strange out of the corner of his eye. He said to me "hey check that out". I looked in the direction he was looking and I saw it. A round illuminated object. My brother said he saw another one trailing right behind it that was not as bright, but I did not see the second one, likely because I was not looking for it and I was extremely focused on the first brighter object the whole time. There was a smooth/soft white light coming from the object. There was some shaded areas equally spaced on the inner section of the objects underside that formed a ring. The object made no noise. The object moved quite fast from the North heading South. The object appeared to move in a perfectly straight line during the entire viewing. The object looked like it went straight into space as it got smaller in the distance. I could not tell how high the object really was, it was to deceptive for me to even guess. I could not make out any definitive lines on the object, the light from the object skewed the clarity of my view. My brother thought the object was close, less then 5000 feet. He described the object as being balloon shaped. He saw the object before I saw it and from a different angle initially. By the time I saw the object it was directly over my viewing area. It was a fascinating experience that I will not forget. "
