Witness Testimony
"Went to my back yard to watch the meteor showers (from the various news sources)on August 12, 2016. Turned off ALL lights to reduce pollution and enjoyed the "show". Then, on August 14, 2016, around 3:16, went out to the front yard to see if there was any meteor activity. That's when we saw the first one. It was brighter than most anything else in the night sky. My friend thought it was a drone. It didn't look like any drone I'd ever seen before (and I've seen plenty) so I went to my back yard (ALL lights were turned off earlier)and noticed that there were many orbs in all directions. It was a clear night and all of the stars, planets, etc. looked normal. Very for off, we could see, here and there, what appeared to be airplanes with normal lights. I used to fly a little (172s, Cherokees, Sierras and a Cessna 410 once!)but I could not determine the altitudes with any certainty. I set up my spotting scope and zoomed all the way out. They were orbs all right. We couldn't tell that with the naked eye but you sure could with the scope (60 power?). There wasn't much movement and none joined others or flew in formation. They just kind of hovered, pulsating white to orange/red (thought I might have seen blue or green once in a while too)almost like an energy source of some kind inside of a membrane or translucent shell. After a while I went to bed thinking that there had to be a logical explanation. Atmospheric conditions causing normal stars to appear????? Yeah, whatever...So, here I am searching the web to see if anyone else ever saw anything like this because I never have and BAM! Then I came across your page. There is so much BS on the web. I'm not sure what to believe. Convince me.Oh, and NASA's explanation was a good one! lol check it out! Lyall"
