"Walked out to driveway to get mail at about 2215 on Monday night. It had been overcast and rainy earlier in the day but at the observation time it was partly cloudy and a 3/4 moon. The moon was about due south and I looked at it a minute then looked to the right and immediately saw what looked like 3 bright stars in a perfect triangle with one on top and one to the lower right and lower left. I watch them for about 15 minutes. I then went I and grabbed my iPhone to see if I could get video of the moon then the triangle. I attempted but the video appears too dark. I then changed to still and snapped some pictures and some of which have the toof rack of my Tahoe in the photos. After a few more minutes I went in the house and did not look to see if how long they stayed. Tonight is 100% cloudy so no observation possible. "
