"Approximately 11'ish in the evening, was laying in bed with windows open. Heard slight, muffled-like whirring in the near distance, so I got out of bed to investigate. What I saw was a large reddish-orange glow much like a forest fire in the Southwest direction in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest towards the south end of the Mogollon Rim. The irony here is that only today would I Google "Arizona UFO Sightings", only to land on travis-walton.com in one of many mouse clicks. The important experience to note here, is simply that Mr. Walton described a very similar experience with sound and glow, just prior to being abducted by an alien race. Now, what and how Mr. Walton described his abduction experience was drastically different from how Hollywood and the directors and producers made the film. In the book written by Travis Walton, as well as online on his website, he describes an alien race subservient to a race of people looking like humans; man - blonde, 6 feet tall, approx. 200 lbs., muscular build, zero blemishes, etc. A woman, with full features, almost resembling the men, as if they were related. Ancient Sumerian texts describe "the Sons of God" coming to Earth from a distant planet, somewhere passed Neptune about the time Neanderthals were populating the planet. They apparently conducted experiments (sex) and injected their DNA into that of the females to create a slave race that would mine precious metals from the area. The book is called "The 12th Planet". There is also reference somewhere in our modern day Christian bible about the aforementioned. There was no smoke or flame coming from the forest, just the large glow emanating almost to the tops of the tallest pines on the horizon. After about 20 minutes, the whirring noise ceased and in a split second the glow was extinguished from sight. "
