SIGHTING: BUXTON, NORTH CAROLINA (UNITED STATES)
Witness Testimony
"*1- standing on our porch smoking. *2-my wife pointed the lights out to my father and i. *3- i immediately recognized these lights from seeing them once about five years ago. they are like nothing else i've ever seen in the sky and i look in the sky allot. *4- we saw 4 horizontal, yellowish-orange lights turn off in sequence from left to right. then we saw them turn right back on in sequence from right to left,stayed on for about five seconds and turned off in sequence from left to right again. *5- i immediate felt like it was not of this planet. i saw these exact lights about five years ago in salvo nc about 30 miles north of buxton. the only thing different was the lights were random five years ago. my wife called my sleeping mother out to see them but they were gone by the time she got to the porch. my wife and i looked around for twenty minutes hoping to see them again,unsuccessfully. about 8 minutes after the sighting we saw a red light (like a planes light) coming from the western sky heading straight to where the object disappeared. we heard the plane flying even though it appeared to be really high in the sky (sounded like a jet fighter). *6-when the lights turned off the second time we never saw them again."
