Witness Testimony

"I was about 12 or 13 years old and was headed to visit my sister in another area of the city. it was around 7 pm and i was standing at the bus stop and it was getting dark when a bright light made me look up. what i saw was a real bright object flying across the sky and illuminating everything around. i followed the path of the object thinking it would crash against the mountains ahead but it went past over the sierra and i lost sight of it. a couple of guys standing at the bus stop were as astonished as i was and we asked each other if we had seen that. one of them said we would for sure hear about it the day after on the local media. then i went back home and forgot about seeing my sister. the day after i checked the news and there was only a brief mention of the sighting on tv.
