Witness Testimony

"While at driving north on huron road towards linwood from bay city just before first stop light in linwood about 3 miles before marathon on the left above the power lines and trees about 500 feet in the air was a large orange light hovering above the houses. i slowed down and watched it go about 300 feet higher in a matter of a second. i continued north about two or three miles turned around and went back as i came back up to the stop light on my way back towards bay city (south) the orange/red light had almost neared the stop light heading north in my direction and as i neared it, it veered right (east) out in to the direction of the bay over a large field and trees then it was gone from my site. the whole incident took place in a matter of 5 minutes at 3:17 am. the orange light did not blink or falter and moved with a smooth fluid motion, not erratic in any way and it did not go very fast. almost like coasting. it had no sound as i slowed way down with my window down to listen, it was not a blinding light, you could clearly see it had a oval outline shaped very much like a street light but not as bright. it was a warm soft orange/red glow. due to driving on the highway i was unable to get a picture or video. i travel the same road 7 nights a week. i have not seen this before but hope to catch it again. i put my camera in the car this morning!
