"It was about 10:00 pm and I had opened my window (facing west) to enjoy the night air. What I thought was just a bright star would have been ignored except its sparkle was way too bright and colorful and I had never seen a star like that in our sky before. Even without my glasses, I could see the craft shoot bursts of light from itself; this is when it really got my attention. I called my family and we watched it sit there for about 45 minutes mostly stationary except for subtle movements back and forth and up and down. It was time for bed, but I checked on it at 11:30 pm time and it had moved further west away from us (towards Alexandria). At midnight, it was gone completely."
