Witness Testimony

" Strange shaped craft over CreteI honestly don’t care if anyone believes me but I feel the need to tell someone about this. My wife and I were walking down the beach just outside of Platanias star gazing. It’s a small village West of the city of Chania on the island of Crete in Greece. I saw something out of the corner of my eye to the right (on the land side not over the ocean) and it was some kind of craft clear as day. It was odd shaped. Definitely closer to a saucer than any other shape but much wider in the middle than the stereotypical ones you see in movies and the edges were more rounded. It was covered with lights around the middle and on the bottom but they weren’t the same. Some of them were brighter than others and some were clearly different colors. I distinctly remember seeing some shades of red but it was mainly yellow light like from a light bulb.I was in the Army a long time and have seen many different aircraft and it wasn’t anything of ours. It’s hard to say exactly how far away it was because it’s hard to judge the distance and size of something when it’s in the air at night, but if I had to guess it appeared to be maybe 3 or 4 city blocks away, approximately 100-150 feet off of the ground, relative to the houses down below. If you were to take your index finger and thumb and measure about 2.5 to 3 inches between them and hold it at arm’s length away from your face. That would be about how big it appeared. My wife and I stood there for a second very confused and then the lights dimmed and it was gone. I didn’t see if zip away or anything, the lights just dimmed to black over the span of a second or so and it was ‘’gone’’ or perhaps just hovering in the dark. It made zero sound and there was no wind that night to carry off the sound of a chopper. There is nothing it could have been confused with. Trust me I’ve tried! my hardest to debunk it. There are no mountains behind that area and the shape was very clear.The whole event lasted only a few seconds, but I got a very good look at it. I tried to report it to the government but they don’t accept these things apparently. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately and came across this site. I know it’s probably not of any use but I just had to tell someone. Maybe you collect data to look for patterns or something. I’m not familiar with this type of stuff. This isn’t exactly the kind of thing you share with family or friends unless you want them to think you’re nuts. I was completely sober by the way and I don’t use drugs of any kind.
