SIGHTING: WIARTON, ONTARIO (CANADA)

Witness Testimony

"Fishing at an abandoned road bridge on the pike river between sauble beach and wiarton on the bruce peninsula it abruptly appeared above our heads and lit up the surrounding area silencing the frog crickets and wild life( about 50 yards around us in a perfect circle) thought it was an aurora beam but later found out no one has ever seen one light was directly above us, could not see beyond beam (darkness) and could not see the sky(stars) my nephew became frightened and i held him close, lite above us appeared to be that of boiling water surface the colours mixing together i thought because no harm came to us that it was a natural rare occurrence and only shared it with family since i thought it was not believable. i did contact the government here a few years ago with negative responce. it did happen and if it was a natural thing i would like to talk to someone with the same experience. we had a family cottage in the area for over 30years and never seen anything like this. fished that location for many years and never seen anything like this, but for some reason i am compelled to speak out and would like to go back there again at the same time of year with my nephew. can the aurora come down in a beam of light, hover and move away in a rapid fashion? it happened just before cell phones became affordable and if i had a recording of this maybe it would have been of great scientific value but i do remember it vividly the exact day and time i can not recall but around that time and day "
