Witness Testimony

"Southwestern marion county, florida. seven of us were leaving a friend's house. i immediately noticed the 2 bright blue lights hanging in the sky at 342 degrees to the north and about 45-50 degrees off the horizon. there was no cloud cover at that time obscuring the lights. the lights did not move, but the lower light seemed to go from blue to red, and flicker back to blue. the upper light remained steady blue. i knew it wasn't an aircraft, because after about 4 minutes, an aircraft came from due north with the usual flashing red and green lights. we watched the lights for about 5 minutes i got in my car and drove the 3 blocks home. by then a small cloud was passing over the lights. when the cloud cleared the air space, the lights were gone. i was astonished at the brilliance of the blue. i've seen red or green stars/planets, but nothing like this. the fact that they hung so close, one over the other struck me as very odd.
