Witness Testimony

"I went outside to smoke a cig after watching movie with my wife. at exactly 9:38pm i went outside, looked to my left and saw something low just below or right at tree line. it wasn't making a sound and was maybe 2 football fields of less distance from me. it was slowly moving closer to my direction and then suddenly stopped and hovered, got extremely bright, to the point i actually thought it may explode or suck up the corn as it had what seemed to also be a beam as it got so bright. i actually thought i was in danger as it was doing this and was so close, but i could not move and was shell shocked by it. after a few seconds the brightness and all stopped and it went back to just flashing lights. it then moved slowly off into the opposite direction it was coming from before hovering and disappeared over the tree line. this object i would estimate was maybe the size of a school bus or slightly larger. i then went inside and my wife asked my what was wrong. she said i looked as if i'd seen a ghost. i explained what i saw and she came back outside with me and of course it was gone still. she went back inside but i continued to stand outside hoping to see it again as i did not have my camera of phone when i had the sighting before. i got ate up by bugs waiting to see if it would come back. it did not, but this is something i will never forget as this was something i cannot explain. i actually feel privileged to have seen something like this. it was quite amazing! i'm going to walk out to the corn where i saw it last night and see what i can find today.
