Witness Testimony

"My neighbor and i were sitting on her unlit patio enjoying the various fireworks displays in the vicinity. the firework activity was dying down as we noticed a light low in the se that didn't go out and steadily rose and grew larger as it approached our location. it rose at a steady pace and direction (nw) throughout the entire sighting. it was perfectly round and appeared transparent with a brighter/lighter internal chevron structure and the orb had an aura outside of its structure. we moved to the front yard to observe it after it passed over the house. it took approximately 3 minutes to come into full view and the same amount of time to become a unremarkable speck of light. there was no noise and it moved at the pace of a small aircraft ( we have a lot of airplane activity around here). it resembled an interiorly lit balloon (the chevron was perfectly centered), however the lack of a drone-like noise and no wind driven motion seems to eliminate that possibility. unless there is some device we are not aware of it was unidentifiable to us and we are curious as to what it actually is. unfortunately i did not have me cellphone with me to take a video or picture, but we are hoping that someone else around here did and reported it also. didn't hear anything on the news this morning. looking forward to hearing from you.
