SIGHTING: ANTIGUA - OLD CAPITAL (ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA)

Witness Testimony

"This photo was taken in guatemala in december 2011. it shows the volcano "el agua" with a litle light above the clouds. it was the fifth picture of a sequence of 12 pictures i took in the same direction, in just a few minutes. no one of the other photos showed the light. the light that appears above the clouds did not appear in the other photos and it was not noticed by me or by two other people that was there with me when the photo was taken - i just noticed it later when i checked teh photo at the camera few minutes later when i left the place i was. during the photos i was posicioned with my back towards to the sun and i was inside a large shaded area. there was not any thing illuminated by the sun less than 1 km from me and 200 m above me. the photo do not have any edition, even for brigth or contrast correction. strange that although the background (clouds) was well focused, the strange light was blurred looking high speed. importantly note that the focus of the camera was quite wide since there was enough light in the image, which would focus on the strange light. until now i do not know how to explain it. the hour registered at the photo is referent to brasilia/brazil (4 hours more than in guatemala were the photo was taken. i was at guatemal for work for a period of one week. at the moment of the photo was taken i was at the road to antigua."
