"I was outside looking for clear skys to possibly pull out my telescope and view the stars while my kids played. it was approximately past 6 pm when what i thought was a shooting star. i quickly told my son to look at the object that i just seen when all of a sudden it slowed down then took off quickly and then kind of dissappeared because of the clouds. i was following it in a straight line and i saw it again slow down again and once again took off. it then disappeared. there were planes in the area. this object was not a commercial jet or a fighter jet. at first i really thought it was a shooting star. but the way it slowed down then picked up speed really left me amazed, and surprised. my older son got a glimpse of it, but then confused it with a plane that was towards the emd of the site but traveling in opposite direction."
