SIGHTING: FRANKLIN, INDIANA (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"I was coming home from work yesterday, and while traveling west bound on us 144 just out side of franklin, in. on my right i noticed an object in the sky. a little over tree top to about 600-700 feet ( approximate ). at first glance it looked like a large trash bag had gotten caught by the wind, but as i drove more down the road i noticed that it was not effected by the wind. (you could see the tree tops sway in the wind) and there was shape to the object. triangular in shape with a black reflective surface. the ground and sky facing surfaces looked to be inflated. while the leading edges seemed to be solid rectangles making up the over all structure. it also seemed to be going approximately 60mph while going west. i am only gauging that from my own speed of a little over 55. i only started to gain on it as it seemed to stop for only a split second to make what seemed to be a 45 degree turn. i kept on driving and the object kept on going as well. there was an other car about a quarter mile behind me but i am unsure if they saw the object too. i drive on us 144 on a near daily basis and never seen anything like that. corp duster some times fly over the fields. small aircraft come out that far from the air field in greenwood. just north of franklin and some times commercial aircraft fly out that way. i’ve grown up on air bases and i’m well versed on different type of aircraft, and this is nothing i’ve seen in my entire life."
