Witness Testimony

"I was with my girlfriend on the top of a building watching stars, constellations, showing her planes and satellites passing through the sky. we started looking at 9pm and about 11pm we saw a star-like object that we thought that it would be just another satellite passing when it suddenly turned left, walked a little bit and almost stopped in the sky. the it turned to the right and did an incredible acceleration and deceleration. kept doing turns, some accelerations and decelerations for about 40 minutes. i’m a pilot and i know it could not be an human aircraft, neither flashlights or balloons. looks like a satellite at first sight but has a totally uncommon moving pattern. the light was walking between canis major and centaurus constellations. we kept looking it almost all the time but for some minutes it’s bright got lower and we lost sight. we decided to call for some other people and my girlfriend went downstairs to call then and 20s about people arrival, the light went southeast in the sky and disappeared. the object was just like a star or a satellite: same light size, same color reflection as a satellite(almost white). the walking path has no logical sequence but looked like an “8” sometimes, sometimes was just an ellipse or something like an “s”."
