SIGHTING: LIVERPOOL, PENNSYLVANIA (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"Driving home from harrisburg, pa on route 11&15 north, about halfway between harrisburg and liverpool pa, we spotted a shiny object in front of us. it was stationary at about a 60-degree angle off the horizon near power lines crossing the susquehanna river. we watched it for several minutes as we drove along going toward it. it was a clear and sunny day and visibility was excellent. at first, we thought it was a blimp, but as we got closer it was obviously not a blimp as i've seen many over the years, and it was definitely not any aircraft i've ever seen. i spent 4 years in the air force during the vietnam war and literally saw hundreds if not a thousand different flying aircraft from a u-2 to a b-52. it looked like a chrome m&m as seen from the side, like a slightly flattened oval. it just sat there motionless all the while we drove and watched it. no movement whatsoever. i even said to my fiancee that we should stop and take a photo, but we didn't. to this day i don't know why we didn't stop and photograph it. it was absolutely beautiful."
