Witness Testimony

"My friend and I were fishing in channel between Algonac and Wahpool Island early this morning June 09, 2019 around 3am. My friend noticed two bright lights up in the sky so I looked up to see what he was talking about. As I looked up, I noticed two bright lights, one above the other, like car headlights. The lights were high in the sky, not near any horizon! As my friend was occupied fighting a walleye on his line, I continued to stare in amazement at the two bright lights. As I reached in my pocket to get my phone, the light on the bottom slowly dimmed out. Then the light on top followed, slowly dimmed out. There was no noise, blinking lights, movement or sound whatsoever! Please let me know what this phenomenon was, is, or could be. My friend grew up in this area and fished there his whole life and never saw anything like this."
