Witness Testimony

"My daughter and i were sitting on our front porch facing south, when i noticed what appeared to be a brighter star with a less bright and smaller star above it. a few seconds later, the star (the brighter and less bright one together as if it were one unit) began to move at a steady pace (not very fast but also not super slow) towards the west. as it began to move in that direction another light with same description began to follow on what looked like the same or nearly the same path. while in the west sky, one of the objects passed the other, and as they passed, they both lit up with lights at the same time. i remember white and red, and possibly blue, my daughter remembers white red and greenish. while they were lit, the objects looked cone shaped like a christmas tree, and the lights seemed to be flashing simultaneously. one then hovered in the west, and one continued in a curved path until it was now in the north sky. we watched it until it was about northeast and stopped. (stood still). we went in the house for about 30 minutes, until i decided to go back out and check if they were still out there. one was about southeast and stationary, and the other was slightly above and a bit more east. (also stationary.) i called my daughter to come out and look, and i pointed out the one that was lower to her and she spotted the one a bit higher. we just decided it was strange and came back inside and went to bed. (although i didn't sleep well) also, and this part is purely subjective, but when they flashed i had a feeling like this was some kind of communication between them, and when i saw them the second time i went outside, i felt watched.
