"Driving from anchorage to fairbanks is a trip i've done several times. i had just passed through cantwell and was continuing up to fairbanks about mile 235. i see a yellow/white light come over the mountains to my left, stop and hover in front of the pickup, and shoot straight into the sky. due to the darkness, i have no way of knowing anything about the craft except that it had a single light on underneath it, and it flew straight up at a high rate of speed. i drove the rest of the way to fairbanks with my camera on and have done the same since."
