Witness Testimony

"Leaving the cul-de-sac, i observed lights which i thought was a plane but realized it wasn't moving like a plane and seemed to be banking with a v-shaped beam of light like a scanner-the beam did not reach the ground, just several feet in front of the lights-it was coming from the west/southwest. i pointed it out to my partner. we stopped at ez deli mart on 220th and 66th and he said to keep an eye on it. i opened the driver's side door and saw it slightly moving east, pretty much stationary. the beam was gone and it seemed to have leveled out with the row of white lights and two red blinking lights at each end longer than the wing-span of a passenger plane. we left and drove to the corner of 208th and 52nd to trans service-pulled into the 52nd st side and let my partner out. i cut thru the neighbor hood to circle around back to 208th and stopped at 208th facing south. below the clouds was the row of lights slowly moving away from me. i watched a moment, aware of someone walking his dogs on the other side of the street and in the blink of an eye, the lights were gone. it had poured rain earlier so there was no low cloud cover for it to disappear into-it was just gone. i realized the man with the 3 dogs was watching me and i waved him on.
