Witness Testimony

"Me and the wife went outside {our backyard} at roughly 5:03 am to have a smoke after a couple of minutes my wife said look at those. there was two lights moving from out of the northwest sky towards the northeast from where we were they were becoming visible from just around the big dipper. when we first saw them they were one behind the other like when you see the space station and and her sister satellites go by which we watch when we can.But we thought they were to close together and then more started to appear from the same area of the sky one and two at a time and a couple of times up to three.They all seemed to become visible from around the same area of the sky all moving the same direction but offset from each other sometimes even passing one another.We saw several appear to turn southeast then return to follow the other lights. between 5:05 am and 5:30 am we counted 39 lights some as big as when we see the iss go over and some as small as satellite's but they appeared closer they just moved across the sky and disappeared into the distance, they would take about 45 seconds to a minute 30 seconds to disappear from sight. we thought the first couple looked a little strange but after counting 22 in the first 12 minutes in turned into a wtf moment and we figured may as well put in a report. just so we are clear my wife and i go and watch pretty much all of the meteor showers out of town to get the best view. we watch sats and planes go over all the time in our backyard which is nice and dark and even have the iss tracker on our computers and tablets. we are avid sky watchers for 40 plus years and we have never seen anything like that before."
